During yesterday’s trading session AUD/USD traded within the range of 0.9343-0.9384 and closed at 0.9370.

At 8:45 GMT AUD/USD traded at 0.9388, gaining 0.17% for the day. The pair touched a daily high at 0.9396 at 8:20 GMT, breaching the first key resistance.

Fundamental view

The US Federal Budget Balance probably turned to deficit of $142.5 billion in May, after a $106.85 billion surplus in the previous month.

If AUD/USD manages to breach the first key support at 0.9347, it will probably continue to slide and test 0.9325. With this second key support broken, the movement to the downside will probably continue to 0.9306.
