Expanded AI Partnership Around Muse Models
Nvidia said on Tuesday it will commit $3 billion to participate in a recent equity offering by Meta Platforms, tying the investment to an expanded strategic partnership built around Meta’s Muse artificial intelligence models.
In a joint statement, the companies said they intend to work together to enhance both inference and training capabilities for the Muse family of models. The partnership will focus on boosting the performance and efficiency of these systems as Meta scales its AI offerings.
The deal builds on the recent momentum of Meta’s Muse AI agents. According to the companies, the Muse agent application quickly became one of the most downloaded apps within a week of launch, reflecting strong user interest.
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang underscored the broader scope of the collaboration, stating, “NVIDIA and Meta are expanding our partnership to optimize the computing infrastructure end to end for capable, efficient and secure AI agents,” in an accompanying statement.
Meta to Expand Use of Nvidia Infrastructure
As part of the partnership, Meta said it plans to significantly broaden the use of Nvidia technology in its data centers. The company intends to deploy Nvidia’s Vera Rubin and Vera CPUs to support its AI agents, and it will also roll out Nvidia’s networking solutions across its infrastructure.
This planned buildout is designed to underpin the next phase of Meta’s AI strategy, with a focus on scaling the computing backbone required for its Muse models and associated agents.

Funding Meta’s AI Infrastructure Strategy
Meta said the primary objective of the capital raise is to support its ongoing investment in AI infrastructure, particularly for the Instagram owner’s expanding suite of AI agents and models.
The company also noted that, in addition to the current offerings, it had previously outlined plans to pursue a separate $60 billion non-voting share offering in 2027.
