FRANKFURT, May 20 (Reuters) – JPMorgan announced that its Chase digital retail bank in Germany is now officially open, with the mobile application ready for customers to download and the website launched.
The rollout follows several years of preparation, during which the U.S. bank expanded its local team. The exact date of the debut had not been disclosed in advance.
Second European Market for Chase
Germany is the second European country for Chase, after its entry into the British market in 2021. The move extends JPMorgan’s digital retail footprint into what it described as a crowded banking landscape in Europe’s largest economy.
