According to a report by Crittercism Inc., the latest software update of Apple Inc. for its iPhone and iPad units is causing some popular applications to crash more frequently than usual, among other glitches.

Crittercisms Chief Executive Officer Mr. Andrew Levy said for Bloomberg: “It just goes to show how hard it is to test everything before it’s sent out into the wild.” He shared that more problems are experienced by customers, who use older iPhones. Mr. Levy also revealed that new coding language may be found as one of the issues that causes troubles for programmers as they “get up to speed”.

As the analytics firm Crittercism revealed in its report, some applications were caused to crash about 3.3% of the time after the update of Apples iOS 8 operating system. This is about 67% more than the previous versions crashes.

In addition, some customers of Apple, who have already bought the new iPhone, shared in Twitter and Apple forums that they are additionally experiencing problems with their battery life and slow Wi-Fi connection after the latest update of the companys operating system.

One of the users reported that the Wi-Fi speed is crashing on an iPad Air, iPad mini with Retina display and iPhone 5s after the devices have been upgraded to the latest version of Apples mobile operating system.

The iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices run under Apples iOS operating system. The latest version of the software was released last week and according to the website of the company, 46% of devices connecting to Apples App Store are already running the upgraded version.

The U.S.-based tech giant was not immediately reached for comments on the matter.

Apple Inc. rose by 1.56% on Tuesday to close at $102.64 per share, marking a one-year change of +46.44%. The company is valued at $614.59 billion. According to CNN Money, the 42 analysts offering 12-month price forecasts for Apple Inc. have a median target of $110.00, with a high estimate of 4135.00 and a low estimate of 460.00. The median estimate represents a +7.17% increase from the last price of $102.64.
