SEOUL, Jan 7 (Reuters) – Qualcomm is in talks with Samsung Electronics to produce two-nanometre chips, the Korea Economic Daily reported, citing CEO Cristiano Amon. Specifically, the discussions focus on contract manufacturing using the latest two-nanometre technology.
The report added that Qualcomm has finished designing the chips. Consequently, the company plans to commercialize these designs soon. Samsung is one of several foundry partners under consideration for this project.
